Our Amazing Summer

These past few weeks Tiny has decided that she can do anything. It's like a switch got flipped in her little head and she was able to learn so much in a very short time. She's known how to crawl for a long time now, but she hardly ever did it because she hated it. I still think she hates it a little but she's crawling all over the place. She can pull up on ANYTHING now (eeekkk!) and she's a very fast cruiser. She looks like she's running when she cruises along the couch. She can open drawers and cabinets. She climbs stairs and can walk only holding onto one of my hands. She's learning sign language so fast and I'm so impressed with her. She still won't say "mama", which I'm not thrilled about, but she can say Hi, Cracker, Wow, Kitty, Daddy, and Dog...she also loves being a "monster". She knows where her toes and head are and will point them out anytime you ask. She knows how to "give 5" and blow kisses. Her newest trick is "bonk bonk", anytime someone said "Bonk" she'll bang herself in the head. She's such a little comedian.

I've tried to do lots of fun things with her this summer. The highlights include: Buying her a little bitty swimming pool so we don't have to pay to go to the pool everyday. Her first trip to the zoo. Her first and second trip to the aquarium. Her first "drive-in" movie. Spending time with Nic. Her first trip to Lagoon, we went with the Jensen's and had a blast!!! (This is not an awesome video but I've never tried uploading a video to blogger so I thought I'd see how it went. Plus, Sandy has all the pictures from Lagoon so this is my only proof that we actually went!)

Her first visit to a petting zoo. First ice cream cone. Good quality time with the Jensen's (Who love Tiny almost as much as we do!!) Plus swimming pools, wheeler farm, memory Grove with Aunt Kaiti, mall trips, a few parties, lunch with friends, lunch with Daddy, and lots of park visits...cuz Tiny loves to swing. We're excited for all the other adventures on their way. What an amazing summer.... now onto, what I'm sure will be, an amazing fall!

Tiny is 9 months old!

I cannot believe my baby is 3 months away from being 1. That is so totally insane!!! She's growing and changing everyday and I love her so much! Here's all the things my sweetheart can do at 9 months!

Isabelle Julianna Armstrong 9 months old*Isabelle is 28.5 inches long (58th percentile)
*Izzy is 20 lbs (75th percentile)
*Bellie has 4 teeth, 2 on top and 2 on bottom. They are so cute!*Isabelle loves to stand up and does all the time. She can stand all by
herself if she's got her back to something and for 10 seconds or
some without any support! Makes mommy so proud!*Bellie just learned to blow raspberry's and thinks it's funny to do it
while she's eating...we're trying to discourage that.*Isabelle is very good at giving kisses and is so proud of herself after she does.*Izzy said her first word "cracker" which is what she calls anything
she can eat by herself (finger foods). Naturally her first word
was something to do with food.*Isabelle knows how to play peek-a-boo and patty cake!*Belle is crazy about our kitty, Maui, she's always
trying to give her kisses.*Isabelle's favorite song is "Happy Family", it'll always get her to stop crying!*Izzy could swing, at the park, all day if I'd let her!*Bellie knows how to clap and will do it anytime you say "Yay".*Isabelle's favorite thing in the whole world is food. She
loves to eat and is very adventurous about it. She'll eat almost
anything you give her. The more flavor, the better!*Bellie can crawl a little if she has the right incentive
but she prefers to hold fingers and walk.*Izzy loves anything stuffed and will squeeze it and give it kisses
until you think the head is going to pop off!*Isabelle can drink from a straw.
*Bellie's favorite toy is an orange hammer...yeah, I dunno why!*Izzy can sign "milk" for her bottle and "more" and she's almost got "all done"
*Isabelle prefers to be outside. She's a nature girl I guess!*Izzy's favorite "cracker" is Fruit Loops. I swear she could eat a whole
box of those in one sitting. It is the only thing I wanted to eat the last
3 months of my pregnancy so I really only have myself to blame!*Bellie loves music, even when she's watching one of her TV shows she's totally disinterested until they start singing.
*Izzy also said her second word, "wow".*Isabelle still won't say "mama" :-(
*Izzy loves the water. She loves baths, showers, swimming and anything
else that has to do with water. She loves to splash and doesn't care
if there's water in her eyes! She's a fishy like her dad!*Bellie has a some separation anxiety but is very easily distracted.
*Isabelle's favorite show is still "Bubble Guppies" but she's also
discovered that Sesame Street is pretty great.*Izzy doesn't laugh very often, but she likes to make other people laugh.*Isabelle is feisty! She wants what she wants, when she wants it!!
*Bellie survived the worst diaper rash mom has ever seen. She was a
trouper about it though and only had 2 sleepless nights.*Isabelle loves her pink walker (Thanks Ryan and Marissa!!) and is happy
standing and walking with that thing for an hourBasically my sweet Tiny is very active. She wants to walk, cuddle, scream, eat, jump, touch, smile, climb, talk, give kisses, and get into everything. She's a complete terror and an absolute joy. I'm so lucky to have her and SO afraid of what the next few years have in store! I love you my sweet little Bellie Belle!!
